History

Founded in 1958 by Harold Newberg and Gene Kock, Newko Tool & Engineering began as a machine shop. Over a 30 year period, Newko evolved into a tool builder and metal stamper. In-house services were comprised of simple progressive dies, as well as, secondary forming processes.

In 1996, Newko Prototype ( known as Newko ) was founded. The goal of Newko Prototype was to become a world class Prototype and Short-Run manufacturer. Newko Prototype absorbed Newko Tool & Engineering's existing business and focused all efforts in the direction of quick-turn, high quality prototypes and short-run manufacturing services. Today, Newko proudly serves hundreds of satisfied customers worldwide.
