History

Founded in 1958 by Harold Newberg and Gene Kock, Newko Tool & Engineering began as a machine shop. Over a 30 year period, Newko evolved into a tool builder and metal stamper. In-house services were comprised of simple progressive dies, as well as, secondary forming processes.

In 1996, Scott Riddell founded Newko Prototype known today as Newko. The goal of Newko Prototype was to become a world class Prototype and Short-Run manufacturer. Newko Prototype absorbed Newko Tool & Engineering's existing business and focused all efforts in the direction of quick-turn, high quality prototypes and short-run manufacturing services. Today, Newko proudly serves hundreds of satisfied customers worldwide.
