History

Founded in 1958 by Harold Newberg and Gene Kock, Newko Tool & Engineering began as a machine shop and continued to evolve into a tool builder and metal stamper over 30 years. In-house services were comprised of simple progressive dies, as well as, secondary stamping processes.

In 1996, Scott Riddell founded Newko Prototype known today as Newko. Newko absorbed the existing manufacturing responsibilities of Newko Tool and Engineering and proceeded forward with the goal of being a world class Prototype and Short-Run manufacturer. Today, Newko focuses solely on manufacturing quick-turn, high quality prototypes and short-run parts and services, proudly serving hundreds of customers worldwide.
